Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin alerts consumers to the recall of some granulated chicken bouillon that does not meet U.S. standards for inspection of food products.  The product, imported from an unapproved source, is being withdrawn from sale and distribution in this country.

The Kim Seng Company, Commerce City, Calif., is recalling 17,674 pounds of granulated chicken bouillon products that were ineligible for import to America.  The product does not meet requirements for import into the United States.

The granulated chicken bouillon products were distributed to retail establishments nationwide.  The products being recalled are:

• 16-ounce cans of "CALFARM BRAND Granulated Chicken Bouillon"
• 16-ounce cans of "MAYLOR BRAND Granulated Chicken Bouillon."
• 2.2-pound cans of "MAYLOR BRAND Granulated Chicken Bouillon."
• 5-pound bags of "MAYLOR BRAND Granulated Chicken Bouillon."
• 2.2-pound bags of "MAYLOR BRAND Granulated Chicken Bouillon."
