The Chattooga High School student council recently promoted some friendly competition among the students at CHS by hosting a food drive. The drive ended last Friday, December 10 and was a resounding success.  Over 2,535 food items were collected to be donated to the local food pantry. Mrs. Mary Beth Housch’s 5th period class was the winner, collecting over 720 items!  Mary Beth works part-time for AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio. Student council sponsor Miss Charis Sumner thanked everyone who participated and helped this worthy cause.  Congratulations to Mary Beth and her students and all that participated in the food drive.
