A Coosa Middle School student was arrested on Wednesday for making threats of shooting up the school.  According to reports from Rome, the student told other students that he was going to “re-enact Columbine”.  The student was arrested after a parent of one of the students reported the comment to officials.  The student was placed in custody on Wednesday around 3 p.m.  The name, age and sex of the juvenile has not been released.  The juvenile is currently being held in the Rome Youth Detention Center.
