Chattooga County Commissioner Mike Dawson has budgeted $50,000 for the proposed new Agricultural Center in Chattooga County.  The commissioner and those planning the $800,000 project are counting on a grant from the OneGeorgia program in the amount of $500,000 to get the project underway.  The proposed AG Center would be built on land currently owned by the Chattooga County School system.  The City of Summerville had agreed to some work on the facility and the Chattooga County Farm Bureau has also pledged some funds towards the project.
