North Georgia Community Action, Inc. will be distributing USDA “surplus” commodities to eligible area residents beginning Wednesday, May 18 at the Chattooga County Community Service Center at 152 Senior Drive in Summerville. Commodities will be distributed daily from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM until the supply is exhausted. 

Eligibility is determined by a signed “Household Eligibility Criteria Form.” An individual can be an “Authorized Representative” for one household.  The representative must present to the worker a completed authorization form from the household that they are representing.  New authorization forms are required for the distribution.
