Oklahoma-based Thermal Seal Duct Systems has purchased the former Wada Metals building in the Floyd County Industrial Park south of Rome.

Jack Husmann, TSD spokes­man, confirmed Wednesday that the company had closed on the purchase of the Wada building at 27 Superior Blvd., and will begin fabricating duct systems for commercial food plants starting in June.

“We do duct systems on top of the roofs all over the country,” Husmann said.

TSD plans to hire 30 employees in the production end of the business this year and anticipates adding perhaps another 10 within the next two years.
