Chattooga County Public Works Director Lamar Canada is encouraging all Chattooga County resident to recycle this holiday season.  The Chattooga County Public Works Transfer Station will be open tomorrow, Monday, December 26 to accept wrapping paper and cardboard from Christmas gifts at the recycling center.  Also, the remote dumpster site on Highway 27 just past the Wildlife Foodmart south of Summerville will be accepting Christmas Trees for chipping.  Both of these services are free.
