The Chattooga County teenager who called in a bomb threat from her friend’s cell phone remains in the custody of the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department.  Originally 18 year old Michelle Weeks was taken into custody and given a $300,000 Cash Bond.  Earlier this week that bond was reduced to a $100,000 property bond.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio spoke with Probate Judge Jon Payne last week about the incident.  Payne stated that at the original bond hearing the teenager displayed little emotion and there was no evidence of any remorse for the incident.  Reportedly the teenagers motive for the bomb threat was beacuse an aquaintence was scheduled for a legal proceeding at the courthouse the day of the bomb threat.  At last report, Weeks remains in the custody of the Sheriff’s department at the Floyd County jail.
