IT’S BEEN FOUR WEEKS SINCE THE MOLESTATION TRIAL OF FORMER TEACHER TONYA CRAFT BEGAN IN CATOOSA COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT.  AFTER THE DEFENDANT TOOK THE STAND ON FRIDAY, THE DEFENSE RESTED ITS CASE.  IT WAS DISCLOSED IN FRIDAY’S TESTIMONY THAT CRAFT HAS SPENT A HALF-MILLION DOLLARS ON HER LEGAL DEFENSE.   SHE WAS FIRED FROM HER JOB IN THE CHICKAMAUGA SCHOOL SYSTEM AFTER SEVERAL YOUNG GIRLS CLAIMED SHE HAD MOLESTED THEM IN HER HOME… CHARGES WHICH SHE DENIES.  WEEK FIVE OF THE TRIAL BEGINS TODAY.
