The regularly scheduled meeting of the Coosa Valley Regional Development Center Board of Directors will be held at 10 AM this morning at the Coosa Valley RDC offices in Rome. A number of municipalities have voiced concerns about the draft by-laws that are necessary for compliance with state legislation that was passed that legislates the creation of Regional Commissions. A study committee to address these concerns will present their findings at the meeting. There will also be a discussion of the Federal stimulus package and each county will be given the opportunity to talk about projects they plan to submit. Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio that projects that will be submitted for Chattooga County include the new Agri Center as well as water projects and road projects. The meeting is open to the public.
