The Darlington Tigers are heading into the playoffs this year after taking a 28-7 victory over Trion Friday in Rome, and look ahead to next week after quarterback Nash Nance led the offense with two touchdowns on the night.

Nance got things rolling early for Darlington, hitting Will Orr with 10:30 left to go on the clock in the first quarter with a 33-yard touchdown.

Nance added a 3-yard touchdown run to put the Tigers up 14-0, and then Alex Sentell scored six on a 27-yard fumble return to put Darlington up 21-0 heading into the second quarter.

Collie Powers added another touchdown to the scoreboard in the second quarter from 17 yards out as they headed toward the locker room at the half.

The Tigers led for the rest of the game and went scoreless in the second half, and the defense allowed one touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Darlington will travel to Eagles Landing Christian Academy next Friday for the first round of the Class A playoffs.
