Walker County has only one closed due to flooding at this time, and it may be closed for a while.  Daughtery Gap Road is closed due to a landslide.

The road is located about 2 miles north of the Chattooga County line on Lookout Mountain and is the main road that runs through Mountain Cove Farms.  Many residents in the Cloudland area that work in LaFayette use the road on a daily basis and it is a popular road for sightseers and tourist to Lookout Mountain and Pigeon Mountain.

A mud slide has closed the road indefinitely.
