DeKalb County authorities have identified the 3-year-old boy fatally injured in an all-terrain vehicle wreck around noon on Sunday as Will Ryder McCrary, of Skyline.

Mark Ford, Chief Operations Officer for DeKalb Ambulance Service, said the wreck involved a four-wheeler, being driven by a 9-year-old, who suffered fractures.

Ford said paramedics treated McCrary at the scene before transporting him to a landing zone. From there, he said McCrary was airlifted first to Huntsville Hospital, where he was treated and then airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, where he died late Sunday.  The accident occurred in the Pisgah area of DeKalb County. Ft.
