Residents are being reminded that the Chattooga County Department of Family and Children’s Services will be closed on Friday due to state budget cuts.  The local DFACS office will be using tommorrow as one of their mandated "furlough" days that were ordered by Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue.

The office will also be closed on Monday, which is Labor Day.
