Paul “Butch” Harton, M.D., recently won Best Paper of Session at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Symposium and Congress in Boston.Dr. Harton presented his paper, “Evaluation of Crystalline Lens Changes in 20-25 year old subjects During Accommodation,” in session 4-C: Intraocular Surgery Measurements and Power Calculations. Four colleagues judged the paper and declared it the winner out of the 11 presentations in the session. Dr. Harton has also been invited to present the paper at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS) in Paris, France this September. “We’re proud of Dr. Harton’s work and believe he is very deserving of this accolade,” said Ken Davis, M.D., CEO of Harbin Clinic. During the conference, Dr. Harton also conducted two courses and presented a poster about Anterior Segment Imaging, which uses new high-frequency ultrasound technology.
