Chattooga County Public Works director Lamar Canada told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio on Saturday that donations are currently being accepted for a family that lost their home to a fire on the Jamestown Road.

Canada said that the wife of the family is an employee at the Chattooga County 911 office.  The family lost everything in the fire.  If you would like more information about the needs of the family or to donate you can contac the Chattooga County Public Works Department office on Monday at 706-857-0736.
