A traffic accident in Dade County on Highway 157, Lookout Mountain, claimed a life shortly after noon on Monday earlier this week. A gas tanker loaded with over 6,500 gallions of gas wrecked and burned about 17 miles north of Cloudland. Flames and smoke from the fire could be seen for miles. Georgia State Patrol has identified the driver as 53 year old Edward Runion of Ringgold, Ga.  It  was the fourth traffic fatality in Dade County in less than a week and the fifth in less than a month.
