The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force arrested several known gang members this week and more arrests may be forthcoming.
According to Drug Task Force Deputy Commander Dewayne Brown, two gang members knows to be affiliated with the “3-2-6 Gang” were arrested at an Old Trion Highway address in LaFayette. The two were charged with possession of hydrocodone and gang association with criminal activity. One of the two arrested is believed to be the founder of the gang and was identified as nineteen-year-old Elisic Shamar Clements.
Another gang member and his girlfriend were also arrested. They were identified by the Drug Task Force as nineteen-year-old Gabe Alexander Sims and seventeen-year-old Autumn Joyce Jones. The were both charged with possession of methamphetamine and Sims was charged with gang association.
The Drug Task Force says that they continue to crack down on gang activity and more arrests are possible as investigations continue. The Drug Task Force says that the “3-2-6 Gang” has about forty members in Northwest Georgia.
The Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force serves Walker, Dade, Catoosa and Chattooga Counties.
