People facing cancer often have many questions and concerns about the road ahead. Floyd Medical Center is taking steps to help answer those questions by hosting I Can Cope, an educational program for individuals touched by a cancer diagnosis-either personally, or as a friend or family caregiver.

Designed by the American Cancer Society, I Can Cope classes help dispel cancer myths by presenting straightforward facts and answers to cancer-related questions.

Classes will be held in the education classrooms at Floyd Corporate Support Center, 420 E. Second Ave., Suite 101, and will be facilitated by specially trained Floyd Medical Center nurses. I Can Cope classes will be offered the second and fourth Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

There is no charge to attend the classes, and attendees do not need a physician`s referral. For more information about I Can Cope classes, call 706.509.6385.
