With the first official day of Fall being today, folks in Northwest Georgia can look forward to what meterologist are calling "normal fall weather."
Currently Northwest Georgia is over 3 inches behind in rainfall for the year, but that is much better than where we were this time last year. It is expected that we should see normal rainfall amounts this fall. That means it could be a good year for fall foliage in Northwest Georgia.
According to the National Weather Service weather patterns indicate fall patterns that will bring cooler temperatures in October and progressively colder temperatures throughout November and December.
