Fire fighters were called to a house fire in the early morning hours of Sunday according to information obtained by AM 1180 Chattooga Radio News.  Summerville, Lyerly and Hayes Fire Departments responded.  The house, located on Georgia Avenue, appeared to have been abandoned.

AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio originally reported the fire as being on Monday.  The fire was Sunday morning around 5 A.M.
