A Floyd County man learned the hard way that it is not a good idea to hunt too close to residential houses.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Justin Daniel Sims, 24, of 4544 Alabama Highway, was arrested by Floyd County police around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. He was charged with reckless conduct causing harm or endangering safety after he was found hunting between two occupied houses and firing his weapon in the direction of several other houses.
He also had a high-powered rifle on a property without permission.
He was released on $1,350 bond.
