A former Cloudland area Fire Cheif has been arrested and charged with Theft by Deception by the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department.  Cloudland resident Howard Durham was arrested yesterday and charged with theft by deception.  Durham is the former fire cheif of the Tri County Fire Department.  The Tri County Fire Department is located at Cloudland at the state line.  Durham was released on a $5,000 bond.  Stay tuned to AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio for more information on the arrest.
