The Chattooga Indians defeated Cedartown on the road last night in a game heard here on AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio by a score of 28 to 21.
In the first quarter Cedartown blocked Senorise Perry’ punt and recovered in the end zone for a touchdown. Then in the second quarter Senorise Perry carried the ball on a 17 yard Touchdown run to tie the score. With 4:14 left in the second quarter Cedartown’s running back Brooklyn Cotton carried the ball for a 58 yard touchdown run, but Chattooga came back with 3:59 left in the second quarter with a 79 yard touchdown run by Chattooga’s Fabian Brown, leaving the score at half – time 14 -13 with Chattooga in the lead.
Cedartown pulled ahead in the third quarter with a 25 yard touchdown pass by Cedartown Quarterback Hayden Privett, but Chattooga countered with a five yard touchdown by Rashaul Ramsey with 5:07 left in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter saw a 16 yard touchdown pass to Senorise Perry leading to a win for Chattooga with the final score: Chattooga 28 and Cedartown 21.
The Trion Bulldogs were victorious last night beating Gordon Central by a score of 37 to 19.
