Ft Payne Police are currently searching for a man who allegedly stole a large amount of money from a Dekalb County business earlier this week.

According to Police Chief Ron Ogletree, authorities are looking for 19 year old Ft Payne resident Bryan Robert Owens, who is a suspect in the theft, which occurred Wednesday.

Owens is a white male about six – three, weighing approximately 230 pounds, with green eyes and short brown hair. Chief Ogletree said Owens is known to drive a red, four-door Toyota Corolla, with the license plate 28 B 544.

He added that Owens is possibly armed and dangerous, and an alert has been sent to law enforcement agencies throughout the Southeast.
