A Gaylesville, Ala., woman was arrested late Monday on a warrant for an April 2007 theft by conversion charge, reports stated.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Donna Renea Richards, 42, of 2210 County Road 114 is charged with felony theft by conversion. Reports stated that Richards, of Richards Advantage Housing on 2611 Shorter Ave., had the lawful possession of $36,000 to purchase two mobile homes for the complainant and did not provide or deliver the homes but converted the funds to her own use.

She was released on bail.
