THE JURY HEARD ABOUT A 79-PAGE G.B.I. INTERVIEW WITH MURDER SUSPECT, SAM PARKER… IN DAY-6 OF HIS TRIAL.  THE INTERVIEW WAS AUDIO-TAPED WITHOUT PARKER’S KNOWLEDGE… JUST AFTER HIS WIFE, THERESA, DISAPPEARED.  HE’S BEING TRIED FOR HER MURDER IN WALKER COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT.  AT THE TIME, PARKER SAID HE HAD "ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA" WHERE HIS WIFE HAD GONE.

HE ADMITTED HE SUSPECTED THAT HIS WIFE WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR, BUT SAID HE DID NOT KNOW THE IDENTITY OF HER ALLEGED LOVER.  PARKER SAID OF HIS IMPENDING DIVORCE… "I DIDN’T SEE THIS COMING, I THOUGHT I KNEW HER."  PARKER TOLD G.B.I. SPECIAL AGENT JAMES HARRIS THAT HE LAST SAW HIS WIFE AROUND DARK ON MARCH 21st, 2007… WHILE SHE WAS MOVING HER BELONGINGS OUT OF THEIR CORDELL ROAD HOME.

AT 6:45 THE NEXT MORNING, TWO DEPUTIES TESTIFIED THEY WENT TO THE PARKER RESIDENCE AND THERESA’S S.U.V. WAS NOT THERE.  LATER, IT WAS FOUND PARKED IN THE GARAGE OF THE HOME.  IN THE G.B.I. INTERVIEW, PARKER ALSO DISCLOSED THAT HIS WIFE HAD HANDED HIM A BAG OF ITEMS THAT INCLUDED ALL THE JEWELRY HE HAD EVER GIVEN HER, INCLUDING HER WEDDING RING.

THE PARKER MURDER TRIAL CONTINUES TODAY IN WALKER COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT.
