This week Congress could vote on a Senate Health Care Bill. All of Georgia’s Republican Representatives are voting against it, but the results are mixed when it comes to the Democrats.
Democratic Congressman Jim Marshall is a firm no. According to The Hill newspaper John Barrow is a likely no as well. David Scott is leaning yes, Hank Johnson and John Lewis are a definite yes, and Sanford Bishop is undecided and may vote no unless language is removed from the bill providing public funding for abortion.
The bill needs 216 votes to pass and at this point the Democrats appear to be a few votes short.
