The Georgia Department of Transportation is still working to clear several state roadways in rural portions of Northwest Georgia.  Yesterday the State DOT continued work on GA Highway 100 in Chattooga and Floyd Counties and worked on Highway 157, with assistance from Chattooga County Public Works, in Chattooga County. 

The state road crews also were working on GA Highway 136 in Walker County on Lookout Mountain Wednesday.  Reports indicated that Highway 157 from the Chattooga County line to Highway 136 through Walker and Dade counties was still ice and snow covered late Wednesday afternoon.
