Georgia has launched a Web site designed to motivate residents of the state to get involved and to respond to the 2010 census.
Gov. Sonny Perdue says the site is the first effort by the Georgia Complete Count Committee.
Perdue says the committee’s job is to identify the best way to reach all populations and all geographic areas of the state.
The committee is co-chaired by Mike Beatty, commissioner of the Department of Community Affairs and Debra Lyons, director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Development.
