A Rome woman and a man wanted in Floyd County were arrested Friday in Centre, according to a report from the Cherokee County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report:
Agents from the Cherokee County Narcotics Unit and Officers With the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 446 Cedar Bluff Road in Centre. Marijuana and narcotics were discovered at the residence. Three people were arrested at the scene. They were:
Bobbie LeAnn Howard of 446 Cedar Bluff Road, 32, charged with trafficking (opium) and possession of marijuana
Melissa Louise Huie of 1020 Walnut St., Rome, 29, charged with obstruction of justice and is being held for the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office
James Leon Smith 33, no address listed, charged with failure to appear by the Centre Police Department, obstruction of justice and is being held for Floyd County
