Some residents in the Gore – Subligna area should have water within the next several months. Chattooga County Radio spoke with Commissioner Mike Dawson concerning the ongoing water projects in Chattooga County. Dawson stated that the water project in the Gore-Subligna area should serve around 390 county residents when it is completed. The cost of just the Gore-Subligna portion of the ongoing water projects will total around $7.4 million. Out of that total around $2.5 million is in the form of a grant and the county will pick up the tab of around $4.9 million in loans.
