Governor Perdue made it official on Friday, after several weeks with no solicitor the governor appointed Summerville attorney Sanford "Buddy" Hill to the position yesterday.  Hill will be taking the position that was left open when former Solicitor Tim Perry resigned to run for the position of State Court Judge.  Chattooga County State Court has been at a stand still since Perry resigned in mid-January.  Perry will be seeking the job that is currently held by Judge Sam Finster who was appointed by Governor Perdue to fill the term of former Judge Carlton Vines.
