The Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome has released their weekly report of accidents with injuries in Chattooga County over the past week.

Last Friday Trooper J.S. Smith worked an accident at the intersection of the Gore-Subligna Road and U.S. Highway 27.  Donald McGraw of Trion was traveling south on Highway 27 when he attempted to make a left hand turn onto Gore-Subligna Road when he turned into the path of a minivan driven by Sheila Walls of Mentone, Alabama.  Walls struck McGraw’s vehicle and caused it to go into a spin.

McGraw told the trooper that he was looking at the store and did not see Wall’s van approaching.  McGraw was issed a warning for failure to yield while turning left and wrong side of the road.
