The Georgia State Patrol post in Rome has released reports on two seperate accidents that occurred in Chattooga County this past weekend.

One accident occurred on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 27 and Marble Springs Road.  According to the report the accident involved a 1992 GMC Suburban driven by Tiffany Satcher of Cedar Bluff and a 2005 Cheverolet Cavalier driven by Michael Pullam of Menlo.  According to the GSP Satcher was attempting to turn into the northbound lane of Highway 27 and pulled into the path of Pullam’s vehichle.  Satcher was cited for failure to yield and driving with no insurance.

The second accident happened on Sunday on Orchard Hill Road at the intersection of Rocky Hollow Road.  The accident involved a 1999 Chevy pickup driven by Fred Greene of LaFayette and a 1995 Buick Driven by Margie Payne of Summerville.  According to the report Payne pulled up to the stop sign at the intersection of Rocky Hollow Road and Orchard Hill Road when Greene failed to stop and hit her vehicle.  Greene was cited for failure to yield.
