The Georgia State Patrol post in Rome has released their report on an accident that happened last Friday in Summerville in front of Truck Town on Woodhaven Drive near Highway 27.
According to the report, Melanie Wooten of Summerville was leaving the Truck Town parking lot onto Woodhaven Drive in front of Floyd Medical Urgent Care in a 1999 Mercury Cougar when she struck the front wheel of a car being driven westbound on Woodhaven Drive by Mary Anglas of Summerville.
Wooten told the Georgia State Patrol that she had come to a complete stop at the intersection when her car slowly rolled into the path of the oncoming vehichle.
Troopers issued Wooten a warning for failure to yield. There were no injuries reported.
