The Georgia State Patrol has released information regarding the accident that occured over a week ago at the intersection of the Gore-Subligna Road and Highway 27 that left a Menlo man injured and his truck upside down.

According to the report, David Michael Waters of Menlo was travelling towards Rome when he suffered a low blood sugar attack.  He veered off the roadway striking a mailbox and continued south bound impacting a culvert on a private drive.  Upon impact Waters’  2000 Ford F150 Pickup truck vaulted into the air and landed nose first on the other side of the private drive and landed upside down facing north bound.

Waters was transported to the Floyd Medical Center by Chattooga County EMS.
