The Georgia State Trooper’s Post in Rome reported one accident with injuries in Chattooga County last week. According to the report released yesterday, the accident occurred on Highway 48 as Kristan Davier of a Mahan Road, Summerville address attempted to negotiate a curve during a heavy rain storm and began to hydroplane. There were three passengers in the vehicle. Davier lost control of the 2004 Chevy Tahoe that she was driving and left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Those injured were taken by private vehicle to Floyd Medical Center.
