A truck took out the guardrail on First Street in Summerville yesterday afternoon shortly before 5 PM.  The truck damaged the guardrail turning off of Commerce Street onto First Street at the park.  The City of Summerville Public  Works Department erected a temporary barrier at the site of the accident and plans to come back next week and replace the guardrail.
