Rome‘s Harbin Clinic unveiled plans for a three story 55,000 square foot comprehensive state of the art cancer center in Rome Thursday morning. Plans for a state of the art comprehensive cancer center were unfurled by Harbin Clinic President Dr. Ken Davis Thursday. Groundbreaking for the three story center will take place in November and Davis hopes to have the facility on line by December of 2010.  The center will be located on Second Avenue at W. 5th Street, between Barron Stadium and the Floyd Medical Center. Floyd and Redmond are cooperating by relocating an off site PET scanner in the center which Davis says is clearly representative of the fact that this is a community effort. Offices of Harbins oncologists will be located in the center along with an Infusion Center, radiation oncologists with their linear accelerators, a conference center and much more.   WRGA
