A Hays CI Prisoner has been charged in an incident that happened last week at the prison located in Pennville. 

Tawone Sapp, who is serving a life sentance for rape, armed robbery and aggravated assault and burglary convictions was said to have "head-butted" a guard at the prison and struck a different officer with his fists. 

In all, four correctional officers were injured in the incident that happened on January 25.  The prisoner is twenty-four years old and was convicted of several felonies in Glynn County, Georgia.
