The National Geographic Chanel began a series last night that features stories about life in Georgia’s State Prison System.  The series is called “Hard Time.”  The first episode aired last night with a program entitled “Hard Time.”  Much of the series will feature prisoners and employees of Hays State Prison in Pennville.Issues that many Chattooga County residents are familiar with since the escape of two prisoners in October of last year are dealt with in the series.  In fact the National Geographic film crew was on hand during the press conference last year after the prison break. The Series is airing on the National Geographic Channel on Mondays.  Monday’s episode will be re-broadcast this Wednesday February 25^th at  10 PM Eastern Time.
