A Cherokee County, Alabama man has been arrested after a high speed chase through northern Floyd County late Monday evening.  According to reports the chase started about 8 PM when a Georgia State Trooper attempted to pull over a Honda “crotch rocket” type motorcycle on Woods Road.  A chase ensued and the suspect was finally stopped just past Big Texas Valley Road. The suspect has been identified as Brandon Kane Mitchell of a Cedar Bluff address. GSP charged him with Felony Attempt to Elude, Speeding (105 MPH in a 55 MPH Zone), Improper Class License, No Tag, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. He has been set a bond of $7,200.
