The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for a suspect in an armed robbery at a Cartersville hotel early Sunday morning, reports stated.

According to reports from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office:

Police were called to the Hampton Inn on Highway 20 in Cartersville about 3 a.m. after reports of an armed robbery.

The desk clerk told them a man wearing black clothing and a black mask entered the hotel and demanded “just the hundreds” in the register.

Reports stated that $299 was taken. The man drove off before police arrived
