Alabama law enforcement officials say that it may be hard to determine the identity of a body that was found in shallow water in Weis Lake almost two weeks ago.

Officials have confirmed that the body was that of a Hispanic male, and that the victim had suffered a blow to the head, but past that little is known.  Officials say that if the victim was an undocumented worker it may be hard to determine the man’s identity.  Undocumented workers often return to their homes and re-enter the United States and little is known about their identity.

For now the body of the man that was discovered by a woman walking along the state docks between Cedar Bluff and Centre on April 18th remains at the Alabama Forensic Center in Huntsville.
