It was Senior Night Friday night and the Chattooga Indians used a dominating second half to seal the victory with a score of 42-21 over the visiting Dade County Wolverines. The first half of action saw big plays by both teams. Dade scored on the first play of the game with a 68 yard touchdown run, a kickoff return for a touchdown and a methodical drive to account for their 21 first half points.
Chattooga set up one score on a big pass play from Schuster to Siffles, another score came by way of a 50 yard kickoff return by Sims followed up by a 38 yard run for the score and then a 32 yard fumble return for a touchdown by Schuster.
The second half would be all Indians. The Indians would score from 10 yards out, set up by a fumbled punt by Dade. Later the Indians would score after a big scramble by Schuster on 1st and 25. Dade County would drive all the way to the Chattooga 5 trailing by 14 with a little over 5 minutes to play and then fumble to Chattooga. Chattooga would spend the last 5 minutes of the clock covering 95 yards, capped off by a 20 yard touchdown run by Ronell Sims.
The Indians will be at home next Friday to end the season with a Region cross-over game. The game can be heard here on 1180AM.
