There were many homes that received substantial damage as a result of the tornado that came through Chattooga County Sunday morning.  Insurance adjusters will be in the area over the next several days to assess damage to homes and property from Cloudland to Teloga.  A representative with the Georgia Farm Bureau told AM 1180 that it will take several days for adjusters to get to everyone that experienced damage.

In some areas there are still downed trees causing problems for homeowners.  On lookers were seen touring the areas that received damage from the storm on Sunday.  Caution is urged to motorist on Gilreath Mill Road and Highway 157 at Cloudland along with the Harrisburg and York Road areas of Teloga as workers from the power companies and county and state road workers will be in the area cleaning up from the storm.
