Authorities in two counties continue their investigation into the car that was found pushed off a cliff in Cherokee County Alabama Sunday afternoon.

The car was registered to a Chattooga County resident.  Sheriff John Everett told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio yesterday that Chattooga County Investigator Mark Schrader is working with the Cherokee County Alabama Sheriff’s Department investigating the case.

It took a tow truck driver nearly two hours to retrieve the car after Cherokee County EMS workers had gone down into the canyon to search for any victims.

AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will have more information about the stolen car as it becomes available.
