Sheriff John Everett said that his department served search warrants yesterday looking for jewelry that had been stolen in a recent burglary spree that went on for a period of over two weeks.

Two Chattooga County teens were arrested last week and charged with burglary and theft.  Austin Lane Ramsey and Brandon Michael Cagle confessed to the crimes according to Chattooga County Sheriff John Everett.

On Thursday the sheriff and investigators were at a local pawn shop checking to see if any stolen jewelry from the burglaries had turned up.  The two teen agers were allegedly selling the stolen jewelry taken in the burglaries.
