Incumbent Chattooga County Tax Commissioner Kathy VanPelt Brown won re-election easily over her Republican opponent in yesterday’s election.

Brown, who face little real opposition from her Republican opponent Fondren Wright was elected with a wide margin of victory.  According to the last totals as of 11:35 PM on Tuesday evening, Ms. Brown had received 5,952 votes to Wright’s 2,070 votes.
